Water Education Grants

CCWD has budgeted monies to help create an informed public through Water Education Grants grants.  

Grant applications are taken throughout the year with the same deadlines as permit applications.

Water Education grants are for supplies or projects engaging people in information or activities regarding water resources like water quality or water conservation.

Water Quality Cost-Share Grants

The CCWD Water Quality Cost Share Program is intended to support local government projects and practices that improve water quality consistent with the Coon Creek Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy report and 2024-33 CCWD Comprehensive Plan.

$67, 404.50 is available in the remaining 2025 cost share funds across any of the funding categories:

Note: local units of government may serve as the grantee on behalf of private entities and individuals with prior approval from the District.

The next application deadline is Applications will be accepted on a rolling basing, starting on 9/24/2025, and processed in the order they are received. Scoring and awarding of proposals will occur in batches at regularly scheduled Board meetings until all funds are depleted.
