Project Manager – Water Restoration and Protection Coordinator
Coon Creek Watershed District is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead capital improvement projects that protect water quality, reduce flooding, maintain drainage systems, and enhance recreation and habitat. This role manages projects from concept through construction and closeout while coordinating staff, consultants, contractors, and partner agencies.
Key responsibilities include developing project workplans and budgets, overseeing design and permitting, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing construction activities, and representing the District in meetings and collaborations. The position also works closely with internal programs—water quality, development review, communications, and operations—to ensure projects are technically sound and aligned with long-range watershed goals.
